“Quatuor Plus” is the final component and the middle segment of a Bach Triptych I have been working on. The first, Sextette, was made on San Francisco’s Smuin Ballet; the last, Oktet: In Situ, on Salt Lake City’s Repertory Dance Theatre. I am grateful to the PCDC dancers for their collaborative spirit in helping me bring this final puzzle piece to life”. - K. Skarpetowska

FIREBIRD
Choreography: Marco Goecke / Music: Igor Stravinsky - Firebird / Staged by: Nicole Kohlmann / Costumes: Erica Johnston / Lighting: Original design by Udo Haberland; recreated by Zack Saunders.
Dancers: Matthew Schroeder, Tianyu Wang
Goecke’s virtuosic and mesmerizing duet reveals a distinctive movement language - sharp, emotionally charged, and set to Stravinsky’s iconic maserpiece
JUST ABOVE THE SURFACE
Choreography: Yin Yue / Music: Erik “Clyde Dimesion” Debono – original sound design, Machinefabriek & Freiband - "Kilauea", Arvo Pärt - "Pari Intervallo", Michel Banabila - "Spider, Spit, and Broken Bells" / Costumes: Mondo Morales / Lighting: Brant Thomas Murray
Dancers: Ayala Abrams, Aly Candland, Elena Gimenez, Jacob Glendenning, Amanda Molina, Mikael Pasini, Christopher Pismarov, Matthew Schroeder
This piece explores the electric connection of human interaction, the sensations that pull people together or apart. Conceptually rooted in Yue’s “FoCo” technique, which fuses movement from both Chinese folk and contemporary dance, the work communicates non-traditional narratives atop a buzzing and complex musical undercurrent.

WITH YOU
Choreography: Mike Tyus / Music: nthing - ‘With You’ / Costumes: Erica Johnston / Lighting: Brant Thomas Murray
Dancers: Mikael Pasini, Christopher Pismarov
An athletic duo exploring toxicity and attachment in a sensual, intimate relationship between two men. Community and Creation drive Tyus’s efforts in crafting work that feeds the human spirit.
HORA MINE
Choreography: Igal Perry / Music: Samuel Coleridge-Taylor - Fantasiestücke, Opus 5
Dancers: Ayala Abrams, Aly Candland, Elena Gimenez, , Jacob Glendenning, Amanda Molina, Mikael Pasini, Christopher Pismarov, Matthew Schroeder
“Hora Mine’ is inspired by Hora, a traditional, rhythmical form of dancing in a circle, which often serves as a means for sharing mutual feelings of joy and celebration. A series of duets delves into layers of individuality while maintaining the sense of sharing the moment, at times exploding into a group dance, fully immersing into the ritualistic nature of the Hora.
In memory of Yonatan Karmon
